A Kentucky native, Hannah currently serves Transylvania University in a dual role in Enrollment Management and Student Life as Coordinator of Student Transitions and Assistant Director of Residence Life and Housing. She has worked in Housing and Residence Life since 2007 at several institutions including the University of Louisville and Bellarmine University. Hannah currently serves on the ACPA Ethics Committee, as President of ACPA Kentucky also known as the College Personnel Association of Kentucky, and as a faculty member for the 2017 Regional Entry Level Institute with SEAHO. Previous involvements include President of the Kentucky Association of Housing Officers, Advisor for the Kentucky Association of Residence Halls, Institutional Representative for NASPA Region III, and SEAHO Registration Chair for the 2015 Mobile Conference. With what time remains beyond work and school, Hannah spends as much time as possible with her dog Barley, teaching piano, embracing wanderlust, catching up on her favorite sci-fi series, and gardening. She is extremely excited to be part of the CPAK leadership as a new partnership with ACPA unfolds!

Jen is originally from Shelbyville, IN and received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Spanish from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. After working in Admissions for two years, she returned to school at the University of Louisville where she obtained her Master’s degree in Educational and Counseling Psychology with a concentration in College Student Personnel. She currently lives in New Albany, IN and works as an Academic Counselor at the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering. In her free time, Jen enjoys running and being outdoors.

She loves the campus community and Lexington community and is looking forward to getting more involved at the city and state level within the coming years. Most recently, Caitlyn is involved with Girls on the Run, serving for her second season as a coach.

Miranda is a born and bred Kentuckian, originally from Shelbyville, KY. As a first generation college student, she never dreamed she would be working within college student personnel, but has found her true passion of helping college students who may be lost or looking for answers during the four years of their undergraduate career. Her goal within student affairs is to motivate and encourage her students and colleagues to think differently by seeing the world around them as learning and leadership opportunities and to support them in their own development, both professionally and personally. New to the central region of the state, she is excited to connect with others who are a part of this region and to serve the state of Kentucky by helping with the professional development of other professionals around the state through her service on the CPAK Executive Committee.

Pam Nessle Curtis has twenty nine years of professional experience working in Student Affairs. Pam previously served as the Associate Director for Residence Life at the University of Louisville. While there Pam oversaw the staff selection, training and leadership development for the student staff. She also coordinated student conduct and response to student crises. In August of 2008 she was hired as the Director of Civic Engagement, Leadership and Service at UofL.
Pam’s professional involvement includes serving as the Inaugural Chair of the UofL Student Affairs Professional Development Committee. She also has served as the chair of the SACSA Career Services Committee and Vice President of Professional Development for two years. She is beginning a two year commitment to CPAK (College Personnel Assocation of KY) as the Conference Chair. Other professional memberships include ACPA College Student Educators International and the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs. Pam has done numerous professional presentations on the state, regional and national levels on student conduct, leadership and staff training and development.
Pam has two millennial sons, Jake and Jeff, who are a constant source of fun, amazement and learning.

Ashley Gei is the Career Development Counselor for Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s four campuses (Leestown, Cooper, Newtown, and Danville). She is responsible for planning Career Fair and Career Development workshops and events as well as provides career exploration and development counseling for students. She is also responsible for academic advising, personal and crisis counseling, and readmission counseling. In addition to working at BCTC, Ashley has worked as a recruiter in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky recruiting students to major and career in liberal arts and sciences degrees for three years. She also co-instructs Leadership and Community Development courses for student organizations on and off campus. It is from her collegiate experiences that ignited her passion to support students access to services and career options to help students succeed and achieve their higher education goals.

Mackenzie Adriance has served as an Assistant Director in the University of Louisville Career Development Center since October 2014. She assists students, from freshman to alumni, with major and career exploration, resume development, job interviewing, goal setting, and overall professionalism. Previously, she worked as the Assistant Director for Career Services at Ivy Tech Community College in Sellersburg, IN. She currently oversees the University of Louisville Student Affairs Division Professional Development Committee, which develops and executes divisional and university-wide workshops, trainings, and events. She is involved in the Louisville community as a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Leadership Team, Young Professional Association of Louisville (YPAL) as well as a volunteer for the Louisville Family Scholar House and Sigma Kappa Sorority.

Tamekka Cornelius is the Director of the Office of Identity & Inclusion, at Bellarmine University. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs designed to educate and increase campus and community awareness and appreciation of students of color and other underrepresented groups on campus. She ensures that Bellarmine University is a welcoming place for all students, staff and faculty is an institutional goal that requires the participation and support of the entire campus community. Ms. Cornelius offers curricular and co-curricular initiatives that intentionally engage individuals in conversations where they can critically examine their beliefs and views regarding the multiple dimensions of diversity that are present on a local, national and global level.

Prior to attending UofL, she worked for two years as an AmeriCorps College and Career Readiness advisor in Cincinnati, OH, where she discovered her passion for student affairs. Alli recently completed a term as President of the Graduate Association for Professionals in Student Affairs (GAPSA), and is a current ACPA Ambassador. She is also involved as a member of UofL’s Professional Development Committee, and with the Southern Association for College Student Affairs (SACSA) as the chair of the Common Read program. Dr. Fred Rhodes is currently serving as Professor and Chair of the Ph.D. in Leadership in Higher Education program. He served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Bellarmine University from 1991-2014. During his tenure at Bellarmine, he also served in the roles of Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students and Professor of Education prior to joining the graduate faculty full time in January 2015.
Dr. Rhodes is a seasoned student affairs professional with 35 years of senior level experience serving as a Dean of Students or Vice President for Student Affairs in both the public and private sector. He has been active in his respective professional associations serving as President of the Southern Association for College Student Affairs and the College Personnel Association of Kentucky. Dr. Rhodes was selected by his peers to be inducted into the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Pillars of the Profession. Also, he has been recognized for his leadership, service, and contributions to the field of higher education at the regional and state level.

Brian moved to Murray, Kentucky in 2014 to be part of the faculty for the newly-created graduate preparation program at Murray State University. At Murray State, Brian teaches courses designed to help prepare students to enter and advance in their careers in student affairs and higher education. He often draws on his time in the field to help make connections between theory and practice. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Brian enjoys giving back to the profession through a number of service experiences, including serving as Co-Editor of the College Student Affairs Journal, and as part of the planning team for the 2016 ACPA Midwest conference. Outside of work, Brian enjoys time with his wife and daughter, as well as some time in his woodworking shop.
